These terms cover your use of CitySpan at cityspan.app. Using it means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.
What CitySpan is
A tool for seeing the local time, daylight and weather where the people you keep up with are. It is free, and it is run as a small independent project rather than by a company with a support desk.
Your account
You need to be 13 or older, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms. Sign-in is a link emailed to you, or a Google sign-in where that is offered, so whoever can read your inbox — or opens the Google account you signed in with — can reach your CitySpan account. Keep them secure. Sign-in links are good for one use and expire. Tell us at privacy@cityspan.app if you think someone else has been in your account.
What you add
The names, places and notes you put on a roster stay yours, and everyone in that group can see them. You are responsible for what you add: only add details about other people that you are entitled to share, and remember that inviting someone to a group shows them what is already in it. Do not use CitySpan to harass or track anybody, to store anything unlawful, or to attack the service or the people using it.
We may remove content or close an account that breaks these rules. You can close yours at any time by writing to the address above.
What we promise, and what we do not
We work to keep CitySpan accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. Times, sunrise and sunset, weather and currency rates come from outside sources and from calculation; they can be wrong or out of date. Do not rely on CitySpan for anything where being wrong would matter — a flight, a medical appointment, a market trade.
To the fullest extent the law allows, CitySpan is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it, and its total liability to you is limited to what you have paid for it, which is nothing. Some places do not allow such limits, in which case they apply only as far as that law permits, and nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be waived.
Changes and interruptions
Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. If CitySpan is ever going to shut down, we will email you first and give you a way to take your data with you.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use CitySpan after that means accepting the new version.

What we store and who else sees it is set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
